About Our Society

The R/A Rajangana Giribawa Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd. was established on August 1, 1991, under registration number KU/2125. We have a proud history of 33 years serving our community.

The society was initially formed by a board of five directors with a staff of 22. Currently, we are managed by a Board of Directors comprising 7 members and a staff of 43. We operate 7 rural bank branches and 5 Coop City retail outlets profitably.

Initially launched with representation from 17 regional units and 2 rural bank branches, covering 35 Grama Niladhari divisions in the Giribawa Divisional Secretariat.
